Anton Bichler knows how to handle sharp knives—but don’t worry, he’s friendly and good as gold. However, if you’re a vegan you won’t feel at home in his butcher’s shop. Slaughtering is carried out here, and everything is expertly jointed and prepared that it’s a delight. At lunchtime you may have to be patient while waiting at the counter because, naturally enough, the obligatory liver cheese rolls and snacks are also served up. Everything is home-made and it’s all very, very good.
